UPDATE: UK Coastguard appeals for information about equipment found in Sandbanks

UPDATE: Owner found safe and well.

Coastguards are appealing for information this evening after windsurfing equipment was found in the water on a slipway in Sandbanks. It is a white, 3.5 meter long sail board with an orange, blue and clear 5.7 meter sail.

The Poole and Southbourne Coastguard Rescue Teams, the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Lee-on-Solent and the Poole RNLI all-weather and inshore lifeboats are currently searching the area.

Anyone with any information about this windsurf should call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
