It’s set to be another scorcher this weekend and it's likely many will be heading to the coast. Please keep to your respective government guidelines and also remember social distancing is still the same for all.

And the majority of beaches will not be lifeguarded, so it’s more important than ever that we all take extra care in these extraordinary times.

Our volunteer coastguard rescue teams will be out and about at known hotspots to provide safety cover. 

And as always, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard if you see anyone in trouble.

But please keep in mind that the sea can be changeable and dangerous. Take responsibility for your actions and look after others, to ensure we all stay safe this weekend. #BeBeachSafe
