UK Coastguard coordinating a search on the Isle of Wight and is appealing for information


UPDATE: They have been found, safe and well.


UK Coastguard is currently coordinating a search for 2 missing people on the Isle of Wight, who were last seen yesterday morning (Saturday 22 April) in a silver Mazda Bongo (campervan), going out for a day’s fishing.  

The Ventnor and Needles Coastguard Rescue Teams, the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Lee-on-Solent and the Cowes RNLI Lifeboat, along with Hampshire Police, are conducting an inland and coastline search.

If anyone has any information on their whereabouts, please call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
