Man rescued from cliffs at Rhossili

Rhossili and Mumbles Coastguard Rescue Teams went to the aid of a man who had climbed 120ft up the cliff at Rhossili today. The teams carried out a rope rescue and lowered the man to the ground, while the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter provided safety cover.

Will Parfitt for the UK Coastguard said:

"Cliffs around the UK can be slippery and unstable, so please do not attempt to climb them, unless you are properly trained and have the correct equipment."
