UPDATE - Search for missing man swept off rock at Cardigan continues

Coastguard Rescue Teams from Cardigan, Mulgrove and Gwbert have been on scene conducting shorelines searches for the missing man swept off rocks at Cardigan since 6am today (Monday 8 August 2016).

The Cardigan RNLI lifeboat is providing search support to the operation.  Dyfed Powys Police is also on scene involved in the search operation.

Update - 12.45pm

The high tide has made it difficult to search the area thoroughly so the search has been scaled down until 5.00pm when it's low tide.

At 5.00pm today (Monday 8 August) the same number of teams will search the area with the same intensity as this morning.
