Two people rescued from the sea at Aberdeen

HM Coastguard has been coordinating an incident where two females had to be rescued from the sea at the Esplanade, Aberdeen this morning (19 April).
A report came in around 12.40am saying the two were in the water and in response, the HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Inverness was sent along with Aberdeen and Stonehaven Coastguard Rescue Teams and the RNLI lifeboats from Aberdeen. Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service were also informed.

Both people have been rescued from the water and were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
