Search for Diver in Orkney

At 5.20pm Shetland Coastguard was alerted to a missing diver from a dive boat off Burwick in Orkney on Wednesday 3rd May.  

The Coastguard is coordinating a search of the Pentland Firth and the islands in the area involving RNLI lifeboats from Longhope, Thurso and Stromness as well as Coastguard rescue teams from Hoy and St Margarets Hope. The Coastguard rescue helicopter from Shetland is also on scene as well as four commercial vessels who are also assisting with the search.
